Siegmund Freud’s (Sigmund-Freud-Museum) museum is in Vienna on Bergasse Street, in the house at number 19. In it the rich exposition which gives the chance to get acquainted with life and psychotherapeutic practice of the doctor closer is presented. In the house built in 1889 from 1891 to 1938 there lived the founder of psychoanalysis. And when in 1938 the power in Vienna was grasped by nazis, Freud’s Jewish family has been obliged to run to London. In 1971 Siegmund Freud’s society has turned a part of the flat numbering 15 rooms, into a museum.
In Siegmund Freud’s museum there are some rooms the part from which once was living rooms, and a part – workers. Tourists can have a look, as the reception of the Austrian psikhiator, the psychologist and the neurologist, his office for work and an expectation room looked. In a museum also there is the greatest library in Europe, numbering 35 тыщ the volumes devoted to dilemmas of psychoanalysis.

The enthusiasm is represented also by personal belongings of a family of Siegmund Freud. All of them are brought together in rooms of a museum which once were premises. In the middle of them there are subjects of an ancient collection, personal belongings, also working accessories. The furniture and furniture of rooms remained the same, as during family accommodation.

The popular couch on which patients lay during carrying out sessions of psychoanalysis, at present is in London. In the same place it is possible to behold and a huge part of the personal belongings belonging to Siegmund Freud. In 2006 Freud’s museum has been open and in the small Czech city the Device where Siegmund Freud was born.
