The coffin rooms on the courtyard side of the complex were designed as individual houses that can be entered as if they were private sleeping spaces Since this area is conceived for use by close friends and relatives, the deceased is laid out as openly as possible

The building lives from the outer appearance of the restrained shimmering body and the extensive glazing of the three-storey entrance hall This light flooded open space connects the shops on the ground floor to the practices above, thus creating a weatherproof, communicative area.
