The glassy “crown" on the upper ledge is a functional complement and completion in this sense. Following the circular run of the motorway, the street-sided facade swings to the north in a long arch. On the upper floors, the low building depth necessitated an extension, formed in two-story squared oriels. The arched wall is further emphasized by the shadows and three-dimensionality. |
