Haydn’s museum and Brams’s (Haydnhaus mit Brahms-Gedenkraum) memorial room
The house museum of known composer Joseph Haydn is in the quiet district of Vienna. Once this territory was outside of the capital of Austria and was the measured remote place where nothing prevented the professional composer to be engaged in creativity and to receive from it pleasure.
Joseph Haydn became real musical opening of own era. It did not change to the principles and created cheeful masterpieces, despite of deprivations and burdens of life.
In the house where the museum is placed, Haydn has spent the last years of own life. The museum has been open in 1889 and since then collects a huge number of admirers of the known composer. In a unique exposition few remained things which surrounded the composer during lifetime are presented. The situation of the flat immerses guests in a past, and, apparently, as though the piano cover just about will reveal, and music will begin to sound. The small piece of a pencil and Haydn’s cards has remained. In Haydn’s museum one of rooms is devoted to his passionate fan, composer Johannes Brahms. Here it is possible to familiarise with the documents devoted to life of the composer. The last years Brams has carried out in Vienna. It is buried on the Central capital cemetery. In one of parks of Vienna, nearby to Karlsplats Square (Karlsplatz), the monument is established to Brams.
