Kerntnershtrasse (Karntner Stra? e)
Kerntnershtrasse (Karntner Stra? e) – the title of this street literally means "Karintiyskaya Street". Since the Middle Ages, it was the main artery conducting on the South through the mountain pass Zemmering to Carinthia and to the Adriatic coast. Crossing this part of "the internal small town" (Inner Stadt), the road has given it strongly pronounced commercial temper, having created here shopping centre where there arrived products from the South.
Closed for a movement car in 1974, Kerntnershtrasse together with Graben Square and Sv. Stefana Square forms a huge foot zone, very brisk, in particular in the evenings when it shines тыща multi-coloured fires.
There is a stately large quantity of stylish shops, antique shops, prestigious salons, banks and establishments.
