The client and the architect decided to turn the design restrictions imposed bv the local codes to their advantage By agreeing on a minimalist design vocabulary and on a solution that would comply with lorm, height and roof orientation requirements, they were able to concentrate on the actual design, while keeping construction costs low. By minimising decoration the clear outlines of an archetypal house are made immediately visible |
