AIRPORT LEIPZIG/HALLE

The fact that the take-off and landing strips lie between the highway and high-speed tram tracks was looked on as a chance to construct a central building to serve as an arrivals hall for tram – and auto – passengers. This bridging structure consists of two parallel halls interconnected every 65 meters by staircases.

EXTENSION OF THE FH OSNABRUECK, LECTURE ROOM AND SEMINAR BUILDING

The accessible roof offers a wide working city terrace in the center of Osnabrueck. The lectur* rooms have natural exposure and ventilation. Water surfaces (fountains), which improve th» microclimate outdoors, form a calming areainife garden yards.

Reactor is designed like a chat room, where the surrounding spaces alternate constantly It enables every space to interact with every other spatial unn within the structure. Changing habits, moods, etc. are analyzed and put into a spatial context in real time

EWE ARENA

The arena is the cornerstone for a complete redevelopment of the exhibition center’s previously ; neglected southern part. It marks the entrance to the new public green space to be developed on the wasteland north of the city’s main station.

laser plant and logistics

CENTER

Built to serves as skylights for underground corridors connecting the new building to the existing structures, the two glass volumes also function as advertising billboards. The connecting laser production hall, as well as the warehouse and logistics area lying across, are extensively organized so as to maximize free space
