The light-colored brick laid in stretcher bond does not only absorb the shade of the white buildings surrounding it. but also enhances the abstract and almost sculptural overall impression The architects achieved even more plasticity by including extremely narrow vertical window openings that underline the monolithic and almost castle-like character of the modern buildings, thus turning the complex almost into a modern citation of the world famous Loire Castles. |
